Trail Riding for Adults and Youth in the Hills!
Two beautiful and distinctive rides will be offered. These rides will be offered weekly, beginning October 1, 2008.
Take a peaceful and beautiful ride on horseback over the trails of beautiful
Los Altos Hills with Western Trail Riding Service (WTRS) | Bay View RideThis mini-horseback riding experience provides a beginner with a ride to the top of Byrne Preserve for a spectacular view of the south bay. Please note that parents may be required to walk next to their child for the duration of the trail ride should the manager deem it necessary. The trail ride will be approximately 25-30 minutes. Riders must be 5 years & older to participate.Saturdays

Afternoon Rides 2:30 pm 3:30 pm |  | Valley Floor RideFollow this loop trail to spectacular Bay View then through the forest gorges of Byrne Preserve about 2 miles from the barn. It is approximately a 1-hour trail ride. Riders MUST 54 inches or taller. Saturdays

- All rides meet at the Westwind Barn, located at 27210 Altamont Road.
- All rides have a maximum of 4 participants with no minimums.
- All rides are weather permitting.
- All participants MUST complete a LAH Registration Form AND bring a completed WTRS Waiver with them to their scheduled ride. Anyone without these forms will NOT be allowed to ride.
- All participants must wear long pants and closed toe and closed heel shoes.
- All riders will be provided with and must wear a helmet.
Registration closes each Thursday prior to the upcoming weekend. Walk-ups may be available but please call 925-862-9044 prior to arriving to check for availability.
